Cookie Policy
This page is provided for pilot transparency. In case of conflict, the latest version is the controlling version.

This Cookie Policy explains how Small Bridge Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the DeliveryMate platform at deliverymate.nz ("Platform").
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your browser on subsequent visits and remember certain information about you. Similar technologies include session storage and local storage, which operate in a comparable way but store data differently in your browser.
2. How DeliveryMate Uses Cookies and Browser Storage
DeliveryMate uses a minimal and privacy-respecting approach to cookies and browser storage. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
We use the following technologies:
2.1 Session Authentication (Strictly Necessary)
When you log in to the Platform, we store a session token in your browser's local storage. This token is used to authenticate you on subsequent page loads during your session. It contains no personal information directly — it is a secure reference that allows our server to identify your active session.
- Purpose: Keeping you logged in while using the Platform
- Duration: Persists until you log out or clear your browser storage
- Can you disable it? Disabling local storage will prevent you from logging in to the Platform
2.2 Stripe Cookies (Third-Party — Payment Processing)
When you complete a payment, Stripe may set cookies in your browser as part of its payment and fraud detection processes. These cookies are set by Stripe, not by us, and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy and cookie practices.
- Purpose: Secure payment processing and fraud prevention
- Duration: As determined by Stripe
- Can you disable it? Blocking Stripe cookies may prevent payment processing from functioning correctly
2.3 Google Maps Platform (Third-Party — Address Autocomplete)
When you use the address input fields to enter pickup or drop-off locations, we load Google Maps Platform scripts. Google may set cookies or use local storage as part of its Maps JavaScript API. These are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Purpose: Providing address autocomplete and map display functionality
- Duration: As determined by Google
- Can you disable it? Blocking Google cookies may prevent address autocomplete from functioning
3. What We Do Not Use
We do not use:
- Advertising or targeting cookies
- Analytics or tracking cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Social media cookies
- Cookies that track you across other websites
- Persistent cookies set by us beyond your active session
4. Managing Cookies and Browser Storage
Most web browsers allow you to view, manage, block, and delete cookies and browser storage through the browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary storage (see section 2.1) will prevent you from using authenticated features of the Platform such as logging in, creating delivery requests, or submitting bids.
For guidance on managing cookies in popular browsers:
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. Because we do not track users for advertising or analytics purposes, our Platform already operates consistently with DNT preferences. We do not respond to DNT signals in a technically distinct way because no change in behaviour is required.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
